Cory L. Darden

Cory L. Darden was raised in Northern California by now retired Army parents. She became a member of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc in the Fall of 2009. Professionally, Soror Darden serves as the Director of Innovation, under the Office of Information Management and Technology for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In this role, Soror Darden is responsible for the development, management, and oversight of the agency’s Innovation culture and ecosystem as well as data management and scientific computing. Soror Darden has a Bachelors of Science degree in Information Systems Management and a Masters degree in Project Management from The George Washington University as well as PMI’s Project Management Professional Certification.
Darden has been very active as a Gamma Chapter member. She has served on the local level as a past Chapter 2nd Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and Financial Secretary respectively.

Currently, Darden is serving her second term as Gamma Chapter’s Treasurer. Darden has the distinction of being one of two sister pairs in Gamma Chapter alongside her sister Nicole Darden Ford who has also served Gamma as Chapter President, Treasurer, 1st and 2nd Vice Presidents. Darden resides in the DC Metropolitan area and is the proud mother of 2 children.
